Finding Compassion for Self

So what do you do if you do not have any idea about how to be compassionate to yourself. In fact, it might be such a foreign concept that it seems ridiculous to even think about it........

We find compassion by  feeling that we matter to ourselves and to others. When we start acting as if we are valuable than we create tiny acts of sacred "matter". And  if we can create enough of these tiny acts  than we start feeling better about ourselves and the world.
We  can start  by doing small things such as:
-getting outside and enjoying nature by savoring the colors, sounds, smells etc.
-trusting our intuition and acting upon it
-being creative and treasuring what we make
-laughing out loud more
-feeling emotional when watching TV shows  and movies where people  really make a heart  difference
-doing small acts that bring smiles to our faces
-sharing only positive stories about yourself and others
Perhaps, today we can begin by  believing that what we create together is sacred and life affirming. We can begin doing these things right now......
