Everything Is Real

Swimming for Life
I find that  words and the images are inadequate to express what I would like to say. Everywhere that I look, we are facing challenges to what we thought was the forever truth..
I look at  Presidential Candidate, Bernie Sanders and he keeps standing strong although many folks are telling him that he should step aside. He knows that the time is not right yet. He still has more to say.....

What's Real?

I feel that it is easier to communicate using images today.  Words seem to get lost, are inaccurate, or they simply don't work. They are over used. Yet we continue to rely heavily on them to communicate our feelings. In my sessions with clients, I have been using  the symbolism of animals, numbers,  natural archetypes etc to communicate what is being experienced. They  are  more authentic and direct.

Miracles From Heaven

Parrot Love
It is a rather gray Saturday in March and I just returned from seeing the newest Jennifer Garner movie, titled Miracles from Heaven. It is billed as a true story and it was very moving.  I cried as I frequently do at movies that touch my heart. I can see why Jennifer Garner was so attracted to starring  in the movie

Seeing is Believing

Natural Art
I went walking in Colonial Park today and saw this amazing scene on a fallen log.  I had no idea that termites could create cowboy scenes......... Or maybe it was fairies....
Enjoy.

Mermaids, Fairies, Gnomes, Leprechauns, and unicorns

Frog Princess
I have been finding joy in small ways.  I just finished reading a book titled "The Mermaid Singing" by Lisa Carey. The author beautifully described the very difficult and complicated relationships of three generations of Irish women and their connections to mermaid energy.

Pixie Passed Today, Our 14 1/2 year old Golden Friend

Pixie
Pixie died peacefully today after an amazing life with our family. She was adopted at age 2 when this photo was taken. She was found after wandering the highways of Florida for several months. She was transferred to a golden adoption center in Pa and we were the lucky ones that brought her home.

Chaos, Change, a groundhog and Maggie Smith

I just saw the movie, The Lady in the Van with Maggie Smith and it was quite good.  I had been looking forward to seeing it since last fall when I saw the first trailer.  It was worth the wait. The movie was a great example of how a crisis and chaos can  happen and how we are forever marked by it.  This is what happened in the movie and certainly what happens in life.  However, we can often control the outcome by holding ourselves as observers and reducing our emotional reactions.
