Baby Boomers, Gen X, Gen Y, Millenials and Indigos

I did some quick research about the birth dates for the generations that are called the Baby Boomers, Gen X, Gen Y, The Millenials or Indigos
It looks like this:
Baby boomers were born between 1946-1964
Gen Xers were born between 1965-1980
Gen Yers were born between 1980-2005
Indigos were born between 1980 -2005
Millenials were born between 1980-2005



I found it pretty interesting that the last three groups were all born during the same period and guess what they all seem to  share similar  characteristics. Our culture is so quick to label that we have relabeled the same people three different times. So whether we are talking about Gen Y or Indigos or Millenials, they comprise the largest generation that we have ever seen. They are much bigger than the Boomers and three times the size of Gen X. So whether we like it or not,  Boomers are being asked to share stage. We have carried the torch for so long for better or worse and I personally am glad that there is such fabulous energy coming in to change the world.
