Why do a past life regression?
to solve a present life conundrum or puzzling situation. If you are very unhappy in a relationship and cannot leave, it is possible that it is an unresolved past life attachment . Or In one session a client was a very fearful passenger when his wife was driving.( BTW, she was a very good driver). By going back into past life, he understood that fear may have begun as a result of a terrible accident and was not from this lifetime at all. He then had an ah ha moment and the fear and anger began to weaken.
Are past life memories always accurate?
Actually, no. Dr. Brian Weiss , from his book Many Lives, Many Masters, says that they are part reality, part fantasy, and partially made up. What counts is whether healing occurs and the memory feels right. Sometimes, people cry as they remember something profound.
What if it is a graphic past life memory?
My experience is that we only get what we need. Usually, the memories are relayed in a way that we get the message without having to go into gory detail. ie. sometimes, the difficult memory comes through as if in a painting. Then it is two dimensional and less frightening to us.
How long does it take?
It depends on a number of things, ie . the seekers comfort with hypnotic trances, the experience of the person that regresses . Usually, it is anywhere from 1-2 hours.
How do you feel afterwards?
Usually tired and relaxed. People report that they have striking dreams afterwards or they may sleep for a couple of hours. Sometimes, the ah ha's take days to show up. Patience is important with this process.
Who should not do this work?
Those folks who have a fragile hold on reality. It is important to be able to ground in the present......
Can everyone do it?
Actually no I think that when you try too hard, it tends not to work .Or sometimes, it is not the right time or folks need to do more healing work before remembering that memory. However, when it does work, it is like accessing a very important missing puzzle piece.
