Mermaids, Fairies, Gnomes, Leprechauns, and unicorns

Frog Princess
I have been finding joy in small ways.  I just finished reading a book titled "The Mermaid Singing" by Lisa Carey. The author beautifully described the very difficult and complicated relationships of three generations of Irish women and their connections to mermaid energy.
What if all of the archetypes in fairy tales and stories are really parts of us? What if you have a love of water that is so compelling that it is hard to be away from it and you only feel at peace when swimming. You have mermaid energy....
Or you love fairies.... You can see them drinking and playing in the flowers of summers. You love eating jam and toast.
Or you have always loved leprechauns and are always seeing rainbows wherever you and you look like one?

There are reasons that we are drawn to certain images, stories, fantasies etc. Use your imagination and go to your special fantasy and play there for awhile. I think that there is more to this than we know for now.

After spending the day, imagining Mermaids Singing, I painted this handsome garden Frog that is "ribbiting" for his mate.
