Tomorrowland, A keeper Or Not?

horse sense
I went to see the new Disney Movie, Tomorrowland and I  really liked it. It was not the best acted nor the best story line etc but it did make a significant observation. Hugh Laurie,  who plays Governor Nicks in the movie, states that  "In every moment there is a possibility of a better future". In other words, we can change our future if we take the time to notice these possibilities. Why don't we do that? Why do we get stuck in the never ending loop of negativity. These are some of the questions that the movie tries to answer.

The Sweet Spot and The Chaos

wasp bite
Perhaps, it is time to stop talking about all of the chaos  around us and begin to stop our own contributions of craziness. So many folks come in to sessions and continue to blame their partners, parents, friends, siblings etc for the upset in their lives. Often, it takes until the end of the session to allow the topic of our own contribution to all of this.  We do not want to feel or see that we have any responsibility for any of it.

Grace and Frankie, New Netflix Series is Ridiculous and Funny

animals speak but do humans listen
I watched the first four episodes of the new Netflix series called Frankie and Grace. It stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston. I was so excited to find a series that seemed thoughtful, age appropriate and interesting. It was interesting if a bit overplayed with the jokes about hearing and  invisibility. The issue of sexual orientation is now being portrayed on screen in a more sensitive manner than ever before.
However, Lily Tomlin's character just looked ridiculous.
